Empowering the Next Gen

The narrative that "Africa is catching up" is outdated. Walking into New Juaben Senior High School, I didn't see students who needed to be convinced about technology. I saw students who were already hungry for it.

On December 9th, I joined a team of professionals for a tech outreach program. The energy in the room was electric. These students know what AI is. They know what coding is. The barrier isn't a lack of interest; it is simply a lack of access.

Beyond the "Computer Lab"

For years, IT education has been theoretical. Students write code on paper. Our mission was to bridge that gap. I spent time discussing the reality of the design industry—showing them that being a "creative" isn't just about drawing; it's about solving problems.

The Hybrid Professional

The most critical lesson I shared is that in today's world, having just one skill is not enough. The future belongs to those who are constantly learning. You cannot afford to be static.

To succeed, you must build a diverse "stack" of skills. It is not enough to just know how to design; you need to understand strategy, learn new software, and adapt to AI tools. The professionals who win are the ones who are versatile enough to solve any problem that is thrown at them. That is the mindset of continuous growth I champion wherever.
